Civil War Reenactment Weekend

1st Annual Battle of Lancaster, October 2-4

October 14th, 1862
Confederate forces under the command of Gen. John Hunt Morgan were fired upon with cannons on the morning of October 14th, 1862. Although there were no deaths, one Confederate was injured and as a result of his wounds, he died at his home in Mississippi.
