Bat Basics

Bat Basics Workshop hosted by Paint Lick Sportsman's Club Wednesday, September 2nd, 9:30 – 11:30 a.m.

Curious about bat biology and conservation? Bats are social animals and often congregate in large numbers. Providing bat boxes offer bats additional roosting areas, or can often help to replace lost or degraded roosting sites. In this workshop, participants will learn basic bat biology, how to protect these native animals and how to construct a bat house for your yard. This workshop is free (bat box kits are $10 per member or $20 per non-member).

Location: Paint Lick Sportsman’s Club, 52 Hammock Alley, Paint Lick
Pre-registration is required. Call the PLSC president at 859-619-0334 to reserve your box(es).
