Battle of Lancaster July 29, 30, 31, 2011


The Battle of Lancaster Organization welcomes you to attend the 149th Annv. of the Battle of Lancaster Civil War Reenactment held at the Garrard County Fairgrounds. History will come to like as Union and Confederate Soliders will reenact the skirmish that took place at Union Camp Dick Robinson. Cannons, Horses, and Infantry will be there for your entertainment. The event is free with Battle of Lancaster excepting donations. Times and events are as follows.

July 29th Town Day 2pm in Lancaster
3PM Civil War Stone Dedication Lamcaster Cemtery all welcome to attend.

July 30th
Camp Opend at 10AM
Ladies Tea 2PM all welcom to come and see what a 1860's Tea would have been like
2PM games for kids and skits
4PM. Battle of Lancaster "Taking the Camp"
8PM Formal 1860's Ball all welcome to come a participate

July 31st
Camp opens 10AM
11 AM1860's Church Service all welcome
12 PM skits start and go all day
3PM Battle of Lancaster "Revenge"
4PM Event over
