GARRARD COUNTY’S SIXTH ANNUAL EARTH DAY FESTIVAL - April 30, 2011

Meet Leslie Worley (L) & Shari Bivelacque (R), event coordinators. Join them for this year’s festival Saturday, April 30, 2011, 10am-5pm, Garrard County Fair Grounds, 7786 Lexington Road, Lancaster, KY (Hwy 27 north of Lancaster). Admission & parking free. 

Great family day including: Free Children’s Crafts and Activities; Food Vendors; Garden, Vegetable, Herb and Bedding plants; Amish- Made Goods; Earth Angels Giveaway - Free Trees & Free Flower and Garden Seeds; Shopping - Earth Friendly, Healthy & Naturally made products available; Educational Display; Recycled Arts and Crafts Display; Vintage Iron Car Club; Live Entertainment all day; Recycled Derby Hat Fashion Show; 4-H Live Horseback Riding Demonstrations. Recycling Accepted – paper, cardboard, aluminum, steel cans, Plastic #1 & #2, household & other batteries; all e-waste except TV’s; toner and ink cartridges.
